We will celebrate this exciting new adventure in learning.
Academy Parents Welcome Coffee At the start of each year new parents are welcomed by the Parent Teacher Guild.
Chapel Every Wednesday is a special event as the children go to chapel and experience God’s love through interaction with resident puppets “Fritz and Martin”
Timeless Tales Theatre A monthly theatrical performance group comes to the school, performing such classics as, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, “Frosty the Snowman”, and “Peter Rabbit”.
Italian Dinner Our annual fundraiser is a fun evening of food and good times shared with our community of school and church.
Halloween Party and Fall Festival The Kindergarten Class performs a Halloween skit for the other children and their parents, followed by trick or treating in the courtyard and parties in the classrooms.
Thanksgiving Feast Students reenact the landing of the Mayflower and the first Thanksgiving shared between the pilgrims and the Indians. The students, dressed up as Pilgrims and Indians, sing songs around the Village teepee followed by a shared feast.
Santa and Christmas Program The children have parties in their classrooms with a special visit from Santa Claus. In the evening, the children perform for their families songs that they have learned in their music class.
Teddy Bear Picnic Our Pre-K2 students enjoy a morning picnic with their favorite Teddy Bear and special treats they made themselves!
Math Fair Our Pre-K3 students will amaze their parents with their new found math skills. A day for prizes and fun!
Circus Our Jr. Kindergarten students will perform for the other students and their families, “The Greatest Show on Earth”.
Scholastic Book Fair Every fall we bring the Scholastic Book Fair to the Academy. It’s a week of fun times reading, sharing, and bringing home books.
Valentine’s Day The children exchange valentine’s with their classmates and have parties in their classrooms.
Lutheran Schools Week This is the time to show your school spirit, from silly hair day to pajama day, everyone will enjoy coming together as a school to share their school spirit.
Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Parties The children design their own Easter baskets and go out into the courtyard for an Easter egg hunt, followed by parties in their classrooms.
Fire Truck Visit During Fire Prevention Week, a local fire truck and firefighters visit the school, demonstrating to the children fire safety.
Story Time Parents, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles are encouraged to read your child’s favorite stories during their class’ story time.
