Admissions Policy

 







 

 

The Academy of Our Saviour accepts qualified students of any race, gender,

Nationality or ethnic origin.  We celebrate the diversity of God’s people.

 

 

  • Students must be respective age by September 1st.

  • Students need to be completely potty trained (NO PULL UPS).

  • Completed Application Packet.

  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate submitted with Application Packet.

  • A new physical exam and record of immunization submitted with Application Packet.

  • Registration fee (Non-refundable/Not Pro-rated) is due with Application Packet*.

  • Supply fee (Non-refundable/Not Pro-rated) due June 1st*.

  • Completed a scheduled appointment for an interview and tour of the campus. (New families only)

  • Enrollment is understood to be for the full academic year and tuition is not pro-rated during the first semester*.

  • It is understood that parents share responsibility at the Academy by:

  1. actively participating in and supporting the Parent Teacher Guild

  2. donating 16 service hours per year

Option I:  8 hours to be completed by Christmas Break & 8 hours by April 15th.  Hours not completed by due date will be assessed to student account at $15.00 per hour.

Option II:  Make a $350.00 donation to the school in lieu of service hours

  • The Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and other school administered programs. We celebrate the diversity of God’s people.

  • The Academy reserves the right to refuse re-admission to any student at the beginning of the month if Tuition or Fees are not current.

  • The Academy reserves the right to refuse re-admission to any student at the beginning of the month if parental dissent and/or lack of conformity to school policies and procedures disrupts the school’s environment.

  • The Academy reserves the right to refuse re-admission to any student at the beginning of the month if they are absent more than the School Policy on VPK Absenteeism allows.*

  • The Academy does not accept requests for specific teachers.

 

   

Dress Code

 

   
  • Academy students are required to wear the school uniform, which can be purchased at the PTG Used Uniform Sale; held in May at the school, or from Risse Brothers School Uniforms.

  • The uniform consists of selected plaid jumper, plaid shorts, navy shorts, navy skorts and navy pants, selected red and white polo style shirts or white blouses.

  • Required shoes are to be rubber soled (preferably sneakers) NO lights, bells, music, etc.

  •  NO jellies, boots, sandals or socks with frills.
